Logo
How to use our logo so it always looks right.
Primary logo
This is our main logo. Use it first, wherever you can.
It's the letters n and c drawn as one line, with the n flowing straight into the c.
The small point at the top always points up.
Logo variations
When people might not know us yet, use a version that shows our name. Don't go smaller than the sizes listed. Below that, the name gets hard to read, so use the main logo instead.
Use it first, everywhere. Merch, profile pictures, stickers.
Print 10 mm and up · Web 24 px and up
Posters, signs, the first page of a presentation.
Print 25 mm and up · Web 120 px and up
Wide, short spaces. Website header, email signature, letterhead.
Print 38 mm and up · Web 160 px and up
Logo colors
Blue and cream are the everyday versions. Black and white are only for black-and-white printing and websites. The number shows how well the logo stands out from its background.
Safe space
Always leave white space around the logo. Don't let text, pictures or the edge of the page get too close. The shaded area shows the space to keep clear.
Wrong usage
Never do any of these. The same rules apply to every version of the logo.
Colors
Blue leads, cream supports, and red is a small accent. Only use these colors.
Brand colors
CMYK values are converted from the HEX codes, so print a test before a big print run.

How much of each
A rough guide for any layout. Keep red small, like a line, a button or one highlighted word.
Last part: red, 5%.
Logo on backgrounds
Always check the contrast before you put the logo on a background. A free tool like the WebAIM Contrast Checker gives you the number in seconds.

Merch
T-shirts and hoodies only ever show the logo. No name, no slogans, nothing else.
Any color works, if the logo is easy to see
Pick any shirt or hoodie color. Then print the logo in blue or cream, whichever stands out more. Check the contrast first: it must be 4.5 : 1 or higher (WCAG AA).
Color check
Some common shirt colors, with the logo color that works best on each.
Fabric colors vary. Ask your printer for the garment's HEX code, or match it with a swatch, before you check.
